Terms and conditions
These general conditions of sale are intended for the use of the reservation of stays in our guest rooms and cottage « Baume A Villeneuve » located at 5 Rue en Villeneuve, Baume Les Messieurs, 39210, Jura, France.
They constitute the reservation of guest rooms and gites between the owners and the client of a stay.
Our engagement
The owners undertake to do everything possible to give their guests a warm welcome, ensure them a pleasant stay and make it easier for them to get to know the region.
Length of stay
The reservation is concluded for a fixed period. The customer may not under any circumstances claim any right to stay in the premises without the agreement of the owners.
Confirmation of the reservation
After receiving your reservation, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.
In the event of a reservation via the partner site(s), the general conditions of these sites apply.
Cancellation by the customer
Any cancellation must be notified only by telephone: 06 42 69 34 47
In the event of cancellation 4 days or less before the start of the stay, the owners reserve the right to claim full payment for the stay.
We advise you to take out travel cancellation insurance at your own expense.
Arriving time
The client must arrive on the day specified for the reservation from 4 p.m. Notify in case of arrival after 6 p.m.
Without notice, if the customer does not appear before 6 p.m. on the day scheduled for the start of his stay, the reservation becomes void and the owners can dispose of the guest room(s). The owners reserve the right to claim the balance of the accommodation price.
Departure time
On the day of departure, the room(s) will be vacated before 11 a.m. The cottage must be vacated before 10am.
Payment of the balance of the stay
The balance is to be paid on the day of arrival. Payment is made by bank check or cash. Bank cards are not accepted.
Ability
The 2 bedrooms available can accommodate a maximum of 6 people.
The cottage can accommodate a maximum of 4 people.
The reservation of the stay is established for a specific number of people. If the number of customers exceeds this number, the owners are entitled to refuse the additional people. This refusal can be considered as a modification or termination of the reservation at the initiative of the owners. In case of departure of the customer, no refund can be considered.
Animals
Small pets are not allowed.
Art of living, use of premises
Respect for a certain art of living is required of all guests to guarantee the tranquility of the place and the comfort of its guests.
In addition, it is requested:
Not to smoke in the rooms and inside the buildings. Smoking is possible outside using the ashtrays provided on request. It is strictly forbidden to smoke by the window.
Not to eat or prepare meals in the rooms without the express permission of the owners.
Any disrespectful attitude towards other guests, places and/or owners may result in the immediate cancellation of the reservation.
Customers are asked not to make any noise or nuisance that could harm the tranquility of the building or the neighborhood.
Guests are requested to use the outdoor spaces and furniture provided and not to encroach on the property of surrounding neighbors.
Waste must be thrown in the bins provided. Customers are asked to sort their waste: ex. glass, recycling, kitchen scraps
For safety and security reasons, guests are requested to lock the doors when leaving the property unattended.
The customer undertakes to return the rooms in perfect condition at the end of his stay and to declare and financially assume any damage for which he may be held responsible.
In the event of non-compliance with the above terms and conditions, we reserve the right to refuse future bookings without further explanation.
Non-discrimination
We do not discriminate against any customer based on race, sexual orientation, religion or ability.
Equipment and maintenance of the rooms
Guest rooms are rented with bed linen and bath towels provided.
Towels are changed at your request.
Responsibility
The owners accept no responsibility for loss, theft and/or damage or injury to property or persons on their property, however caused.
Visitors, access to places
Visitors of customers in bed and breakfast or gite are accepted only after agreement of the owners.
Access is reserved for declared customers and visitors. The transmission of keys to visitors or any other person is not tolerated
and may result in the immediate cancellation of the reservation.
Acceptance of the general conditions of sale
Acceptance and compliance with these general conditions of sale are deemed acquired upon confirmation by e-mail.
Failure to comply with the general conditions of sale and the instructions for good manners may be considered as a breach of the reservation. In case of early departure of the client, no refund can be considered.
Computing and Freedom
In accordance with the Data Protection Act of January 6, 1978, customers have the right to access and rectify data concerning them. The owners of the “Baume A Villeneuve” bed and breakfast undertake not to transmit the information that you have communicated to them to other companies or organisations.
Dispute
In the event of a dispute and in the absence of an amicable agreement, only the dispute resolution authorities of the place on which the owners depend will be competent.
